Created 5 classic arcade game renditions for Full Sail code camp students to edit and make their own.

Donkey Kong rendition, Barrel Roll

The Problem: We needed various systems to support the players' movement and interactions.

My Solution: I built 3 major systems to work together, allowing the player to interact with enemies as well as objectives in the game.

Climbing ladders in 2d space

The Problem: The player needed a way to interact with ladders so they may reach the princess.

My Solution: I created a ladder asset then programmed the game to react to these tiles within the level whenever the player presses the up button.

Barrel Roll reward system:

The Problem: I needed the ability to reward the player for all the positive interactions in the game.

My Solution: I created, then iterated upon a point system which I tested for player satisfaction/agency.

The Problem: I needed a title menu image displaying the title of the game as well as instructions.

My Solution: I created an image with GiMP, then uploaded it into the MakeCode engine for use in the title menu.

Bop-O-Tron; enemies take chase:

The Problem: I needed enemies to seek out, then chase the player in order to emulate the enemies present in Robotron 2084.

My Solution: I created, then programmed 3 enemy types for the player to interact with.

Win/Lose Conditions:

The Problem: I needed to give the players' ways to win or lose to complete this game experience.

My Solution: I gave the player a win condition of saving all humans, as well as a lose condition of colliding with an enemy.
